Permanent Makeup Prices in Geneva: What Microblading, Powder Brows and Lip Blush Cost
The price of permanent makeup depends on three things: the technique, the first session and the upkeep that follows. At Beauty Art Pro in Geneva, every first session for brows or lips includes a consultation. Then comes a touch-up a few weeks later and a refresh every year or so. The table below shows the current price of a first session for each technique. It comes straight from the salon's booking system, so it is always up to date. Under the table you will find what each price covers, how often you will need a touch-up, and how to compare offers without comparing apples with oranges.

How permanent makeup is priced: three stages

Whatever the technique, the cost of permanent makeup is spread over three stages:
  1. The first session ("new set"). Consultation, mapping of the shape, choice of pigment, numbing and the treatment itself. This is the biggest part of the budget.
  2. The first touch-up. Pigment never heals evenly everywhere the first time. A touch-up 4 to 6 weeks later (6 to 8 weeks for lips) fills the lighter areas and fine-tunes shape and colour. It is part of the treatment, not an optional extra, and it is booked and paid separately.
  3. The yearly refresh. Permanent makeup fades slowly. A refresh every 6 to 18 months, depending on the technique and your skin, keeps the result crisp and costs much less than starting again.
When you compare prices between studios, compare all three stages. A low first-session price with an expensive or compulsory touch-up can end up costing more than a clear, all-in price.

Prices by technique

Microblading

Fine hair strokes drawn by hand, for natural brows on dry to normal skin. The first session takes about 2 hours, consultation included. The first touch-up is at 4 to 6 weeks, then a refresh every 6 to 12 months keeps the strokes crisp. On oily skin, strokes fade faster, and the salon offers a quarterly touch-up every 3 to 4 months. Read how long microblading lasts before you choose.

Ombré powder brows

Soft shading made with a machine, for a filled-in, powdery look. Often the most durable brow option, especially on oily skin. The first session takes about 2 hours 30, the touch-up is at 4 to 6 weeks, and a refresh every 12 to 18 months is usually enough. See ombré powder brows and microshading.

Combo brows

Microblading strokes at the front of the brow and shading through the body and tail. A natural front with a more defined finish, and better hold on combination skin. First session about 2 hours 30, touch-up at 4 to 6 weeks, refresh every 12 to 18 months. Compare in combo brows vs microblading.

Beauty Angels Blade & Shade

Hair strokes combined with a very soft shading for a diffused, light result. First session about 2 hours 30, touch-up at 4 to 6 weeks, refresh every 6 to 15 months.

Lip blush

A sheer, natural tint that redefines the contour and evens out the colour of the lips. The first session takes about 3 hours. The touch-up is at 6 to 8 weeks, then a refresh every 12 to 18 months. The lip blush guide explains shades, healing and aftercare.

What the price includes

Healed combo brows close-up: soft hair strokes at the front fading into light shading toward the tail
For every first session at the salon, the price covers:
  • A consultation about the shape, colour and technique that suit your face, skin and lifestyle.
  • Mapping: the shape is drawn, measured and adjusted until you approve it.
  • Pigment matching: REACH-compliant hybrid pigments, chosen for your hair and skin tone so they heal without turning red or grey.
  • Numbing with a topical cream for a comfortable session. Read does microblading hurt? if you are worried.
  • Single-use tools and written aftercare instructions for the weeks of healing.
A deposit is asked when you book online, to secure your time slot. It is deducted from the price of your treatment.

Touch-ups: who pays what

The touch-up prices on the booking menu apply to clients whose permanent makeup was done at Beauty Art Pro. The salon knows the pigment, the technique and the healing history of that work. If your brows or lips were done elsewhere, start with a consultation (30 minutes). The artist will look at the healed result and tell you whether a refresh, a correction or a new set makes sense. Old, discoloured permanent makeup sometimes needs to be lightened first: the salon also offers laser-free PMU removal.

Cheap permanent makeup: what to check before you book

Permanent makeup stays on your face for one to two years. Before choosing on price alone, check:
  • Healed results, not only fresh photos taken straight after the session. See the salon's microblading gallery for healed work.
  • Hygiene: single-use needles and blades, sealed packaging opened in front of you, a clean, dedicated treatment room.
  • Pigments: REACH-compliant pigments, matched to your skin tone.
  • The touch-up policy: when it is done, what it costs and what happens if you need more.
  • A real consultation, where the artist can also tell you that a technique is not right for you.
Correcting a poor result usually costs more than doing it well the first time, both in money and in time.

Permanent makeup or a non-permanent treatment?

If you are not ready for permanent makeup, or simply want to compare costs over a year, non-permanent brow and lash treatments are a good starting point. They cost less per visit, but they have to be repeated far more often:
  • Brow tinting or henna brows colour the hairs and lightly stain the skin. The result lasts from a few days on the skin to a few weeks on the hairs.
  • Brow lamination sets the hairs upward for a fuller, brushed-up shape for about six to eight weeks, without any pigment in the skin.
  • Lash lift curls your natural lashes for about six to eight weeks.
Over a full year, several appointments for tinting or lamination can add up to a similar budget as one permanent makeup treatment and its touch-up. The difference is the daily routine: permanent makeup means no more drawing your brows each morning, and it does not run in the pool, at the gym or in the heat of a Geneva summer. Many clients try lamination or henna first to test a shape, then move on to permanent brows. All these treatments are listed with their current prices on the service prices page.

How to plan the budget

  • Book the touch-up at the same time as the first session, so it falls within the 4 to 6 week window (6 to 8 weeks for lips).
  • Choose the technique for your skin. On oily skin, ombré or combo brows often need fewer refreshes than microblading.
  • Protect the result from sun and exfoliating skincare to stretch the time between refreshes.
  • Packages and gift cards: the salon sells a microblading touch-up package and gift cards, which make a thoughtful present for brows or lips.
Not sure which technique to choose? Book a consultation first. It takes 30 minutes, and you leave with a clear recommendation.
